A to Z Challenge - Day 1: A is for Attack!

Well, it's the first day of this crazy challenge that I'm participating in on 2 blogs. This one and Paranormal Lounge. The A to Z Challenge is a blogging event that takes place every April. The challenge is to write a post for each letter of the alphabet and post nearly every day during April, omitting Sundays.

So, for A Day, I'm writing about how in marketing you have to plan your marketing like attacks. My theme for this challenge is : Marketing is like war. I'm going to try to stick to that theme as much as possible, but I may have to deviate.

A is for Attack!

When marketing an important event or book release, you must attack on all fronts. The fronts are: Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Google+, and your blog. There may be some other fronts you need to consider. Just find all your social media platforms and you'll find your battle areas.

Attack by posting the same content to all your platforms.
Attack by hosting the same event on Facebook and Goodreads and maybe even Google+.
Attack by tweeting at the right times.
Attack by asking your friends to help you out. (That's also called recruiting, and make sure you return the favor!)

So, if you've got a big release, or an amazing event coming up, be sure to Attack on all fronts and ATTENTION!
