Kayla lives in North Platte, Nebraska with her husband and
two children. She started writing seriously in high school while
on the school paper. She took every writing class available
during high school and didn’t stop writing after she graduated.
Short stories and beginnings of books kept coming until she
eventually finished her first novel in 2011.
Obsidian: Mystic Stones Series #1 was published in August of 2012 by Martin Sisters Publishing. Kayla has since self published short stories, Oomph!, Journey in an Unknown Land, and Falling Leaves: The Complete Three Story Collection.
